Wartenburg and how films can do philosophy

Here's a nice little article that discusses Wartenburg's (mentioned in chapter 6 of Sinnerbrink) view that The Matrix does philosophy by actively engaging its viewers in a thought experiment, thus upholding the view that if philosophy can do thought experiments, and those experiments are conducive to one's "doing philosophy," then a film that enacts these experiments is thus doing philosophy itself. He adds some other qualifications but that's the basic view that I take from it.
